The 17th annual Komen North Texas Race for the Cure will be held Saturday, June 2 in Plano. There will be a 5K run/walk and a one-mile family fun run benefiting the Susan G. Komen Foundation. It is a fun, festive event, but more importantly, it is a race for life. Grab a friend and join in the fight against breast cancer.
* 6:00 – 6:30 a.m.: Volunteer Check-in
* 6:30 – 7:45 a.m.: Race Day Registration
* 7:30 – 7:45 a.m.: Plano Jazzercise warm-up
* 8:00 a.m.: Coed 5K Run/Walk
* 8:30 a.m.: Family 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk
* 9:15 a.m.: Accenture 50-Yard Kid’s Dash
* 9:30 a.m.: Survivor Celebration, Awards Ceremony, and Prize Drawings
